YUASA NP Series VRLA Battery Overview
The YUASA NP series covers the conventional capacity range of the valve-regulated lead-acid product line. Nominal voltage is available in 12V and 6V, capacities range from 24Ah to 250Ah, and the design float life is 10 years.
The series uses a special corrosion-resistant grid alloy together with a proprietary formulation and manufacturing process, keeping water loss and self-discharge at a low level. A patented leak-proof structural design reduces the risk of electrolyte leakage in normal installation orientations.
In application terms, the NP series is positioned for backup power in UPS, EPS and DC power systems, with capacity models available for data centers, semiconductors, telecommunications, power, chemical, finance and transportation industries.
The series covers 10 models, from NP24-12H to NP230-12H, with capacities from 24Ah to 230Ah at the 10-hour rate. Overall dimensions range from 175×166×125 mm to 538×270×212 mm, and terminals are configured as copper core M5, L-type M6/M8 and copper core M8 according to capacity.
