YUASA NPL Series High-Rate Battery Overview
The YUASA NPL series targets applications that demand both high discharge rates and long service life. Compared with the standard product line, it emphasises high-rate discharge characteristics and a design float life of not less than 12 years.
The product data lists the following technical points: excellent high-rate discharge characteristics, a proprietary plate formulation and technology, more material for longer life, and a patented leak-proof structural design. The parameter tables give the 15-minute power rating (25℃, 1.67V/cell) alongside the 10-hour capacity, making it possible to size the battery for short-duration high-current duty.
The NPL series is intended for UPS, EPS and DC power systems requiring long service life, with a focus on high-demand, high-rate applications including large data centers, rail transit, semiconductors, power and petrochemicals.
The series covers 24 models with capacities from 24Ah to 230Ah; NPL255-6H is a 6V model and the rest are 12V. The 15-minute power rating ranges from 79.3W to 950.0W.
