YUASA UXL Series 2V Long-Life Battery Overview
The YUASA UXL series uses a 2V cell construction with capacities from 100Ah to 3000Ah and a design float life of not less than 15 years. It is positioned for high-power UPS and DC power systems.
The advantage of 2V cells is that they can be connected in series to suit the required voltage: a 12V system uses six cells in series, a 110V system uses 55. The larger the individual cell capacity, the fewer parallel strings are needed for a given capacity, and the more important cell consistency becomes.
The product data lists the following technical points: unique electrolyte balancing technology, adaptability to more industries and scenarios, a unique formulation for extra-long service life, and proprietary process and quality control for consistency. Electrolyte balancing and quality consistency are directly relevant to long series strings.
